Mr. Kenneth Jewell Manker, Sr, age 70, of Murray, KY died at 7:27am Saturday at his home. He was born August 8,1941 in Charleston, MO to the late James & Helen (Toombs) Manker.

Mr. Manker was a member of the Catholic faith, a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran, and was a District Sales Manager for Bunny Bread for 37 years. He was in charge of Murray, KY from 1969 until 2002.

He was preceded in death by one son; Larry Manker, and one brother; Paul Manker.

Mr. Manker is survived by his wife; Brenda (Long) Manker to whom he was married Sept. 23,1961, one daughter; Kelly Vaughn (Jamie), two sons; Ken Manker, Jr. (Carol), and Terry Manker, Sr. (Regina), three sisters; Judy Holzen (Gordon), Norma Sommers (Jan), Melba Stricker (Jim), four brothers; James Manker (Gayle), Ray Manker, David Manker (Alpha), Donnie Manker (Diane), seven grandchildren; Ashley Lanier (Paul), Terry Manker, Jr. (Loretta Miller), Lindsey Manker, Chelsea Vaughn, Jacob Manker, Adam Manker, & Kenslee Vaughn, one great grandchild; Chloe Lanier, sister in law; Shirley Manker, several nieces and nephews, and special friend; Josie.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am Wednesday at St. Henry Catholic Church in Charleston, MO, with Father Glenn Eftink officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, with full military honors provided by the U.S. Marines and Missouri Military Honors Program. Friends may call from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, MO.
