Mrs. Frances E. Walker, age 76, of Murray, KY died at 11:35am Sunday at Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital. She was born August 17,1935 in Calloway Co. KY to the late Charles & Florence (Williams) Rains.

She is survived by her husband, J.P. Walker to whom she was married Nov. 7,1952, one daughter; Sheila Kirks (Wade), one son; Steve Walker, two brothers; Charlie Rains and Robert Rains, and two grandchildren; Jeff Kirks and Shelley Kirks.

She was preceded in death by her brother; James Rains.

Mrs. Walker was a member of Russell Chapel United Methodist Church, and retired from Wal-Mart with 40yrs of service.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday at York Funeral Home, with Rev. Derrick Williams & Rev. Bob Saywell officiating. Burial will follow in Old Salem Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday at York Funeral Home.
